Garden Writing
Susan Brimo-Cox has been gardening and writing for years, so putting those two aspects of her life together made a lot of sense. She began garden writing after completing the Penn State Master Gardening training program in 2001. She is a member of the Garden Writers Association.
Nature’s Garden
Susan writes Nature’s Garden, a self-syndicated, twice-monthly gardening column that delves into the pleasures and curiosities of Mother Nature’s role in the garden and how we can gain ideas and gardening know-how from natural areas. A mix of observations and education, the column draws positive reviews from readers.
Nature’s Garden debuted in July 2004. It currently appears in the Uniontown, Pa., Herald-Standard newspaper.
The Greenfield Gardener
Since April 2002, Susan has been writing the monthly gardening column The Greenfield Gardener for the Greenfield Grapevine, a monthly in Pittsburgh, Pa. This column is essentially how-to focused.
