About Brimo-Cox Communications

For more than 20 years, Brimo-Cox Communication’s founder, Susan Brimo-Cox, has been communicating news, information and ideas creatively, effectively and professionally. She is an award-winning communicator who has experience in a variety of arenas: newsroom, corporate marketing department, ad agency and as an independent professional.

Brimo-Cox’s formal education also spans a broad range: from fine arts to political science to public relations. She keeps her skills sharp by attending various conventions, conferences, symposia and workshops. She also maintains memberships in professional organizations important to her lines of work.

In 1996, Brimo-Cox earned the professional “Accredited in Public Relations” (APR) designation. Accreditation is a voluntary certification program administered by the Public Relations Society of America. Public relations practitioners with five or more years of professional, full-time experience are eligible to take the accreditation examination. It is a rigorous exam. Fulfillment of maintenance requirements must be demonstrated every three years to maintain accredited status.
